Ready-to-download n8n templates
Four small automations we use in practice, in a general version. Each template is a JSON file you import into n8n, connect to your own accounts and test.
Error alert to Telegram
Every failure in any of your other workflows reaches you on Telegram, with the workflow name, the failing node, the error message and a link to the run.
Setup
- Connect a Telegram bot credential on the sending node.
- Paste your chat id in place of YOUR_TELEGRAM_CHAT_ID.
- Activate this workflow, then in the settings of every other workflow choose it as the Error Workflow.
What you need
- A Telegram bot
- The n8n account where your workflows run
Limits worth knowing
- It has to be set as the Error Workflow in the settings of each other workflow
- You get a message for every failure, including repeated failures of the same problem
Website contact form to Google Sheet
Your site posts the form to the webhook, the visitor gets an instant answer, and the lead is cleaned and added to a sheet, or updated if the same phone number is already there.
Setup
- Set your own domain in the Allowed origins field of the webhook.
- Connect Google Sheets and choose a sheet. In its header row create the columns: Date and time, Name, Phone, Email, Business, Challenge, Status.
- Point your form at the production webhook URL. The body is sent as JSON with the fields fullName, phone, email, businessName and challenge.
What you need
- A Google Sheets account
- A website form that can send JSON
Limits worth knowing
- It normalizes phone numbers to the Israeli format (972)
- An existing lead is recognized by phone number
- The template only writes to the sheet and does not send an alert
Duplicate lead check in Airtable
Each new lead is checked against the same table by email and marked Duplicate or New.
Setup
- Connect an Airtable token and choose your base and table on every Airtable node.
- Make sure the table has the fields Email, Status and Created.
- Activate it. The trigger polls once a minute and the code counts matches for each lead separately.
What you need
- An Airtable account
- A leads table
Limits worth knowing
- The check is by email only
- If two leads with the same email are created in the same minute, both are marked as duplicates
- The trigger polls once a minute
Invoice VAT calculation in Airtable
A new invoice gets VAT, a total and a unique invoice number, and is marked ValidatedQueued.
Setup
- Connect an Airtable token and choose your base and table on the trigger and the update node.
- Make sure the table has the fields Amount, InvoiceNumber, VatAmount, Total and Status.
- On the Set VAT rate node, update the VAT rate when the law changes (Israel: 17% until 31.12.2024 and 18% from 1.1.2025).
What you need
- An Airtable account
- An invoices table
Limits worth knowing
- The Amount field is treated as the amount before VAT
- The VAT rate is set in its own node and has to be updated when the law changes
- This is a calculation helper, not tax advice. Have an accountant confirm the rules
How to import a template
Download the file, then in n8n open Workflows and choose Import from File.
On every node n8n flags with a warning, connect your own account (Telegram, Google Sheets or Airtable) and replace the values written in capitals, such as YOUR_TELEGRAM_CHAT_ID.
Run it manually with test data. Only activate the workflow once it works.
Before you use them
- The templates are provided as they are, with no warranty. Test them in a test environment before connecting real data.
- They are general versions of workflows we built, with all of our IDs, connections and addresses removed.
Need something that fits your business?
A general template saves you a start. Connecting your systems, business logic and testing are separate work, and we can do it together.
